A Montana ranching family faces off against others who are invading their land.. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the world of rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and revert to the Southern California speaking voice he normally uses.. This show is well acted, the first two episodes were well written and leave you wanting more after each episode. Not to mention the Montana and Utah scenery is gorgeous. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 70s drama “Dallas.” In short Yellowstone is “Dallas” meets “Sopranos.”.
