Plot
About to embark on a world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by mounting horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her past.. In one scene, Skye places a bottle of VOSS water on a rock.

the marble kitchen counter and there is a noise that matches the sound of something plastic sitting down. The VOSS water bottles are glass, something that is actually specifically pointed out in the movie, and therefore the sound doesn’t match the action seen.. .
An improvement over the (good) original
Featured in The 7PM Project: Episode 17 October 2024 (2024). Naomi Scott’s performance is outstanding, she is so convincing and fully committed to the role to the point where she elevates the film as a whole. The rest of the cast are good, e.g.
Rosemarie DeWitt, but 'Smile 2' it’s very much Scott’s movie
The runtime is perhaps a little longer than it needs to be, though to be honest that’s only a minor criticism in the grand scheme of things. Much of what is on screen helps cancel out any potential (minor) pacing issues, the violence and gore is quite graphic but well done and is exactly what we want to see from a production like this, yes let’s be real. I will say that this contains too many cheap jump spaces, something I’m not a big fan of, but like the above, it’s not a notion that hinders the overall quality of the end result.
Based on the ending, the next sequel could be a lot of fun – here’s hoping!
